James Edward "Sug" Muldrew

James Edward "Sug" Muldrew, 80, of Okolona died May 22 in a Little Rock hospital. He was born August 28, 1931 in Okolona, the son of the late Charlie and Addie Muldrew. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company, a veteran of the United States Army and a member of First Baptist Church of Okolona where he was a trustee and president of the cemetery fund. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sue Muldrew one son, Marcus (Tamecia) Muldrew of Okolona; two daughters, Donna Muldrew and June (Keith) Wine both of Little Rock; one brother, Charley Muldrew of Stockton, Calif.; one sister, Ruby (Charles) Gill of Flint, Mich.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Okolona with Rev. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.
