Rosalie Chambers Warren, 86, went on to Heaven on May 23, 2012. Rosalie was born January 13, 1926 in Lee County, Marianna, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Katie Viola Riddle Chambers and William Grover Chambers. She married Roy Bryan Warren, August 12, 1945, in the West Helena Baptist Church. They were married for 47 years, and raised four children. She is survived by her children, Dennis and Ann Warren of Sherwood, Ark., Wayne and Beverly Pyron of Broken Arrow, Okla., Linda Moneymaker of West Helena, Ark., and Joel and Joy Wilkison of Brinkley, Ark. She has nine grandchildren: Leigh, Mary, Steven, Cathryn, Jake, Justin, Jarrod, Jessica, Jordan, and five great-grandchildren, Haley, Breckon, Kensi, Lily and Kaylen. Rosalie loved her family, gardening, traveling, baking, serving in the church, and oil painting. She also authored the book "How to be a Room Mother with Ability and Agility." Rosalie served in the West Helena Baptist Church for 40 years, where she taught Sunday school and vacation bible school, and was an active member of the West Helena Women's Missionary Union. She also served in the West Helena Public schools as a room mother for 24 years. The family would like to thank Bertha Armstrong, other staff members, and Hospice care for the love and care given our mother over the last three and a half years while she resided in Crestpark Nursing Home. Services for Mrs. Rosalie Warren will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2012 at West Helena Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Dusty Rhodes will officiate. Memorials may be made to West Helena Baptist Church, 702 Plaza Street, West Helena, Arkansas 72390.
