Vicki Griner

Vicki Griner, 55, of Sherwood, passed away May 22, 2012 at her residence. She was born on January 15, 1957 in Little Rock; she was the daughter of Donald W. Rice and Wavel Rice. Vicki served as a Registered Nurse for Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock for 36 years. She was a devout Christian of the Baptist faith. Vicki loved traveling, boating, and was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Vicki was a loving and devoted mother who always put her daughter first, and she was also a loving daughter and a great friend to all. She is preceded in death by her fathe,r Donald Rice. Survivors include her daughter Mandy Dedmon, her mother, Wavel Rice, her brother, Ricky Rice and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Huson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Friday at Higden-McLehaney Cemetery near Higden.
