CLARENCE ZIMMERMAN, age 84, of North Little Rock, Ark. passed away May 26, 2012. He was born July 24, 1927 in St. Vincent, Ark. to Ben and Theresa Zimmerman. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Clarence was a life-long salesman both in career and at heart; he never met a stranger. He worked for Armour Packing Company in Little Rock for 10 years, Carl Finch Janitorial Supplies (along with his wife) for 30 years, and Baptist Health for 12 years. Clarence, along with his wife, helped found Service Professionals, Inc., a subsidiary of Baptist Health and thriving business in Little Rock. Clarence was a proud veteran, serving for two years in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Clydean Halbrook Zimmerman; daughter, Sharon; son, Don and wife, Karen; and two grandchildren, Ken and Andrew all of North Little Rock. Clarence is also survived by two brothers, E.L. and Robert and three sisters, Marie Beck, Dorothy Thines and husband John, and Rosalie Beck and husband Ronnie, as well as many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, and cousins all of which he adored. He is also survived by countless loving friends and neighbors. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Jim Burnie officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Sunday, May 27, with rosary following at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
