Bitha Fitch Rogers

Bitha Fitch Rogers was born in Casa, Ark., on Dec. 29, 1922 to the late Rile and Nancy Fitch. She died on May 27, 2012 in Beebe, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Morgan; husband, Lee O. Rogers; son, Garland Morgan; brothers, Lavelle, Kermit and C.G. Fitch; and sisters, Rotha Adams, Mona Pettit and Lydia Talbert. She was a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in El Paso, Ark. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (John) Powers; brothers, Nathan Fitch of McGehee, Miss., and Robert Fitch of Harrison, Ark.; sister, Dorothy Causey of Rollette, Texas; three grandchildren, Karen Gunn, Kevin Morgan and Melissa Cleveland; five great-grandchildren, Justin, Adam, Alex, Addison and Connor. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 29 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, with burial in Forrest Hills Cemetery.
