CHARLES THOMAS PUCKETT, 79, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2012. He was born Aug. 15, 1932 in Rison, Ark., to Thomas Cecil and Nannie Bell Hall Puckett. He graduated Rison High School in 1950 and Arkansas A&M College in 1954. He joined the U.S. Marines, was in Quantico Officer's Training and was subsequently stationed at Cherry Point Naval Air Station. In 1959, he went to work at ARKLA/Foreman Cement/Ash Grove Cement Company, retiring as vice president of sales and marketing in 1992 after 33 years of service. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margie Louise Felley Puckett; one son, Greg Puckett and wife SiLena and their children, Charlie and Katie of Bentonville, daughter Audrey Potts and her husband Bryan and their children, Lindsay, Brandon and Mallory of San Antonio, Texas; and nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbors and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the funeral home with Rev. Rick Jaggars and Rev. Phil Spigner officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m., at Macedonia Cemetery in Rison, Ark. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 501 N.
