Funeral services for Lacerine Smith Bell, age 86, of Malvern, Arkansas who died Friday, October 12, 2012 in a Hot Springs Hospital will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Pastor Richard Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery with Services provided by Brandon's Mortuary, Inc. Malvern, Ark. Lacerine Smith Bell was born in Tulip Arkansas to the late Rev. Willie B. Smith and Mattie Baugh Smith. She was a retired LPN at the Arkansas State Hospital Benton, Arkansas, and she was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church. Lacerine Smith Bell was predeceased by her parents; husband William Bell, three brothers, William T. (Dub) Smith, John E. Smith Sr. and Henry Smith; five sisters: Mary Smith, Coretta Smith, Willie Green, Ortha Walker, and Bernice Lambert. Left to cherish her memories is one son, Donald Faison ‘Imp' of Malvern, Arkansas, two daughters Erserine Jimerson of Malvern, Arkansas and Laverne Smith Jones (Raymond) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; special niece Lagretta Williams of Malvern, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday October 19, 2012 from 6 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Online guest registry is at www.brandonsmortuary.com. The family will be at 809 McHenry Street Malvern, Ark.
