Pat Swan

Mrs. Pat Swan, 59, of Hamburg, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Swan was a native and life long resident of Hamburg. She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1971. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny C. & Ruby Trantham Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Allan Swan of Hamburg; two sons, Tim Swan and Thomas Swan and wife, Stacey, all of Hamburg; four brothers, Jimmy Roberts, James Roberts, Raymond Roberts and Danny Roberts all of Hamburg; two sisters, Linda Davey and Judy Ford both of Hamburg; seven grandchildren, Chloe McDonald and husband, Michael, Bodhi Swan, Thayer Swan, Gillian Swan, Ryan Swan, Andrew Swan and Aubrey Swan; two great-grandchildren, Gemma & Hagen McDonald and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. James Morris and Rev. Eric Hodge officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroad Cemetery. Pallbearers are Daniel Rice, Norman Lee Swan, David Cunningham, George Norman Swan, Belvin Hamm, Bubba Gilmore, Roy Rogers and Delton Rice. Honorary pallbearers are Bodhi Swan, Thayer Swan, Ryan Swan and Andrew Swan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
