Lee Daniel Ward

Lee Daniel Ward 86, of Little Rock passed away Monday, September 3, 2012. L.D. was born in Lonoke County, Ark. to the late Benjamin Edward and Bessie Smith Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Teresa Ward, son, Jerry Ward, stepson, Larry Preston and brother, Lloyd Ward. L.D. was an U.S. Army Veteran; he served his country well during WWII. He was a retired plumber and co-owner of a plumbing company. He is survived by two sons, Dudley Preston and Danny Ward (Debby) of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Tamara McKim, Gabriel Ward and Christopher Ward; three sisters, Birdie High and Lorene Brown both of Lonoke and Berniece Morris (William) of Amarillo, Texas; and numerous other family and friends. L.D. will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400) with Reverend Joe Tompkins officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. There will an open visitation Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the funeral home.
