R.M. Mills

R.M. Mills, age 72, of Crossett, Ark. passed away on Sept. 1, 2012, at the Lake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center. He was born on March 9, 1940, in Milo, Ark. to his parents, Otha Lee and Ruthie Beatrice McClain Mills. Mr. Mills was a retired Lab Technician from Georgia Pacific Paper. He enjoyed water sports and enjoyed spending time with his family. He never met a stranger and was very kind and giving. Mr. Mills was a member of Cloverdale Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Mills and Jerry Mills. Survivors include: two brothers, Darrell Mills, Burl Mills, both of Crossett, Ark.; one sister, Carolyn Kelley (Bill) of Hamburg, Ark.; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Mills of Crossett, Ark. and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Bolin officiating. Interment will follow at Egypt Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com). The family wishes to thank his caregivers, Jeanette Sawyer (Lindsey), the Lake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center Staff and Chicot Memorial Hospital doctors and nurses. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
