Dennis Mark Sherrell, born December 16, 1962, in Little Rock, Ark. passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in the arms of his loving mother with his family around him, after a courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School in 1981 and The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. He worked most of his career in Tennessee and most recently in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mark was a kindhearted person, loving and caring son, brother, uncle and friend, who was loved and cherished by many people and made lasting friendships wherever he was. His father, Jackie Sherrell, preceded Mark in death. He is survived by his mother, Jeanie Sherrell of Little Rock, his brother Steve Sherrell (Kimberly) of Benton, nephews Jackie Ryan and Benjamin and niece Lily, Uncle Jimmy (Wanda) of Maumelle, cousins Trudy and Natalie, Uncle Bob (Sue) of Little Rock, cousins Jim and John. And a host of family and friends. A Visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Sunday, September 09, 2012 from 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark.
