Estalee Martin

After a long and courageous life Estalee Martin passed peacefully on September 5, 2012. She was born to the late Ada and Robert Martin on March 26, 1919. Estalee had a long and proud career working for the Sterling Department Store in Downtown Little Rock. She retired to care for her ailing mother but later returned to the work force and gave Stein Mart 22 proud years before retiring at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Ada and Robert Martin. She is survived by her extended family Bob, Peggy, and Mike Burchfield, Rissa and Amanda Nettles, all of Little Rock, as well as, her church family at Central Baptist Church and her many Stein Mart friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. The family extends a special thanks to Good Shepard Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice for their compassionate care. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, (501) 224-8300, with Reverend M.L. Moser officiating.
