Ruth Jeanine Griffiths

Ruth Jeanine Griffiths, 75, of Greers Ferry, Arkansas passed away September 6, 2012. She was born on September 5, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Florence Turner. She is survived by her husband Larry, and her children, Shelley Griffiths of Corvallis, Oregon, Julie Jackson (Mike) of Little Rock, Kent Griffiths (Trina) and Craig Griffiths(Shannon) of North Little Rock and also grandchildren, Grace, Mary Kate and Sarah Jackson, Samantha Adkins, and Trenton and Marcus Griffiths and her brothers Tom (Marilyn) Turner of Castle Rock, CO and Paul (Suzanne) Turner of Des Moines, Iowa along with nieces and nephews. Jeanine was a graduate of Drake University, an avid scrap booker, dedicated member of her church and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11th, at the Holiday Hills United Methodist Church in Greers Ferry Arkansas, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. being officiated by Rev. Dan Brand and Rev. David Turner. The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Holiday Hills United Church Memorial Fund, 8824 Edgemont Road, Greers Ferry, Ark. 72067.
