Mary Jean Thomason Wagner

Services for Mary Jean Thomason Wagner, 84, of Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Chris Brannon will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Wagner died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1928 at Little Rock, Ark. to H. B. and Merle Estelle Heflin Thomason. She moved to Ada in 2001 from Prague. She married Raymond Wagner on Aug. 31, 1945. Mrs. Wagner was a rural mail carrier in Arkansas until her retirement. She was a member of Bayou Meto Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Ark., and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Wagner, of the home; four sons, Raymond Wagner Jr. of Guymon, Okla., Benny Wagner and wife LaTonna, of Bonham, Texas, Lorne Wagner of Lonoke, Ark., and Joshua Wagner of the home; one daughter, Lorrie Thiel and her husband Arthur of Jacksonville, Ark.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
