James Holice Cranford, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:45 AM in Luling, La. Beloved husband of Essie Mae-Davis Cranford; father of Wendell Cranford and wife Brenda; grandfather of Tina Cranford and Kerry Cranford and wife Allison; son of the late Jack and Hattie Pearl Cranford; brother of the late Lloyd Cranford, Roy Cranford, Buddy Cranford, Althey Lee Cranford, Marie Cranford, Essie Mae Pennington, Alma Laws and Mary Lou Ernest. A native of Rison, Ark. and a resident of Luling, La. for 57 years. Age 86 years. He was the owner of Holice's Exxon in Luling and was a World War II Army Veteran. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation that will be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Ark.
