Jessie L. Hare, 68, of North Little Rock passed away on September 4, 2012. He was born on September 5, 1943 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Byron Hare and Lilian (Chisolm) Hare. Mr. Hare was a member of First Baptist Church in Magnolia. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Vietnam War as a Para Rescue Specialist, and was a truck driver and member of the American Legion. He is survived by his son, John Byron Hare (Maria) of Wylie, Texas; the love of Jessie's life, Dana Chambers of Magnolia; brothers, Gerald Hare (Martha) of Little Rock, Don Hare (Connie) of Victoria, Texas and Chris Hare (Jerrie) of Russellville; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Thursday, September 13 from 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday at the funeral home, followed by interment with Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
