Robert Joseph Howard Jr.

Robert Joseph Howard Jr., age 77, of Cabot went to be with his Lord on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012. He was born Nov. 9, 1934 in Lena, Miss. to the late Robert Joseph Howard Sr., and Effie Mae Slay Howard. Mr. Howard was a United States Air National Guard veteran, a retired data processor, and a member of First Baptist Church in Cabot. He was a kind and loving husband, father, and papa. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Howard; his daughters, Sherri Endress and her husband Wayne, Terri Goebel, Catherine Harding and her husband Jimmy; two sisters; Nelia Self, and Anne Ellis; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Morley officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ijaz, Dr. Siddamreddy, Dr. Mazher, ICU nurses Julia, Kerri, and the third floor nurse Jessica and the rest of the nursing staff of Baptist Springhill Medical Center.
