Wayne Edward Dillion

Wayne Edward Dillion, 82, of Conway and formerly of DeWitt passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born October 10, 1929 to the L.E. Dillion and Emily Ferguson Dillion. He was a retired meat market manager for Kroger and a member of Second Baptist Church in Conway. He is survived by two daughters: Carol Stout and husband Mike, Ann West and husband Mike, all of Conway; one son, Ross Dillion and wife Cyndi of Conway; four grandchildren: Michelle Stout Odom and husband Brian, Stacy Stout Hammons and husband Rob, Emily West Ferris and husband Cody, Drew Dillion: five great-grandchildren: Quinn and Cullen Odom, Zac, Tyler and Lexi Hammons; and a brother, David L. Dillion and wife Vicky of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt, with Bobby Ross Blount officiating.  Burial will be at DeWitt Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, before the service at Essex Funeral Home. Memorials may b e made to Alzheimer's Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Ross Dillion, Gary Morris, Greg Manis, Buddy Dillion, Dicky Hudson and Jimmy Fly. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Southridge Village of Conway for the love and care provided to Wayne over the past few years.
