Dortha Lee Smith

Dortha Lee "Dot" Smith, 85, of Clinton passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock. She was born June 13, 1927 in Clinton, Ark. She was the fifth child born to the late J.J. and Bessie (Estes) Smith. Dortha worked for many years for the Federal Aviation Administration in Little Rock until her retirement. She was a long time resident of Van Buren County and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.J. and Bessie Smith; two brothers, Orbin and Loyd Smith; and two sisters, Lois Porter and Nerene Williams. She is survived by two sisters Mary Jo Davis and Verniece Harness, a host of loving nieces and nephews, and special nieces Hannah and Katie McHale. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Clinton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Chapel Clinton with Pastor Gary Kirkendoll and her nephew Pastor Steve Smith officiating.
