Merrily Purnell Parker

MERRILY PURNELL PARKER, 87, of Little Rock died Sept. 8, 2012. She was the widow of Owen W. Parker Sr. and the mother of Owen W. Parker Jr.; three grandchildren, Joseph, Merrily and Daniel and three great-grandchildren. Her parents were the late Dr. and Mrs. F. L. Purnell. She was born in Kensett, Ark., where she attended Kensett schools. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Merrily attended ASTC, now University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Merrily's request was that there be no service. In lieu of flowers please consider the Owen W. Parker Sr. and Merrily Parker Scholarship fund at UALR in music or philosophy departments.
