Katherine Martin Elizandro

Katherine Martin Elizandro, 89, of Maumelle passed away on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012. She was born on January 7th, 1923 to John and Elizabeth Keel Martin in Hamburg, Arkansas. Katherine gave selflessly of herself volunteering to many organizations. She treasured her family, including her dog Sweetie, and spent her life making a home for them. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Martin; her brothers Woody, Charlie, Jay and Tom; her sisters Louise and Annie Mae and her son James Wadell Elizandro. She leaves to cherish her memory her children David (Marcia) Elizandro, Peggy (Mike) Guziewicz, Willie (Elizabeth) Elizandro, Jerry (Susan) Elizandro, Richard Elizandro and John Elizandro; her grandchildren Terry (Sandy) Mullenax, David Elizandro, Jr., Ashley Elizandro, Bill (Angela) Elizandro, Angie Elizandro, John (Amanda) Elizandro, Cristina Elizandro, Tess (Mark) Looney, Katrina (Richard) Garringer, Jeremiah (Catherin) Elizandro, Rick Elizandro, John David Elizandro and Emily Elizandro; her seven great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 26th at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home.
