Mary Helen Halbert Stephens

Mary Helen Halbert Stephens of Prattsville, Arkansas was born March 22, 1915 in Prattsville, the daughter of the late Herbert and Fern Harvey Halbert. She was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. Mrs. Stephens passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant at the age of 97. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Stephens and a great-grandson, Michael Hebert. Survivors: son, Mike and Kathy Stephens of Prattsville; grandchildren, Laurel and Patrick Hebert of Shreveport, La.; Leslie and Bo Kervin of Prattsville; Lee and David Bailey of Prattsville; step-grandchildren, Bryan and Natalie Simpson of Batesville, Jason and Rachel Smith of San Francisco, Calif.; great-grandchildren, John Hebert, David Lee Bailey, Dylan Hebert, Paige Kervin, Cruz Hebert, and Madison Bailey; step-great-grandchildren, Sophia, Asher, Brylie, Kace, and Addie Jo Simpson; great-great-grandchildren, Justice, Tyler and Logan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Neal Pumphrey and Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, P.O.
