Theodore H. Rollins

Theodore H. Rollins of Little Rock died September 21, 2012. He was born November 9, 1923 in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Julliard School of Music and was a WWII veteran in the Army Air Corp. He was an accomplished musician, playing the French horn professionally for many years. He met and married Mary Helen Rutherford, his wife of 62 years while playing in the band at Billy Roses' Diamond Horseshoe in New York. Ted enjoyed model railroading and various types of sports. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen; son, Harry (Vicki); daughter, Catherine Thrush (Steve); five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery Little Rock, Ark. Arrangements by Arkansas Funeral Care and Crematory.
