Freda Browning Northern

Freda Browning Northern, 94, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 24, 2012. She was born February 12, 1918 in Benton to Samuel E. and Pearl Lee Browning. She was a homemaker and lifetime member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 60 years, Addison Oliver Northern Jr. She is survived by son, Bud Northern and wife Sharon of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Blayne Northern of Cabot and Nikki Chumley and husband Brett of Bryant; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street. Graveside services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Park in Little Rock.
