Arvid "Ed" Fisher

Arvid Neal "Ed" Fisher, age 75, of Jacksonville, passed away on September 25th, 2012. He was born in Burke, South Dakota on May 9th, 1937 to Lucille Sanders. He graduated from Burke, South Dakota. He retired from the United States Air Force, built race cars and drove the big rigs for 12 years. He is survived by his mother, Lucille Sanders, his wife Myrna Fisher and three children: David Fisher, June (James) Branch, Gail (Alan) Schnebelen, five grandchildren, two great-grandchldren: Katlyn and Jimmy Graham. Ed is a member of Bible Baptist Church and a member of the Fillipino American Association. We would like to thank Dr. Patel, Baptist Hospital and Arkansas Hospice. Visitation will be Friday, September 28th from 6 p.m.. until 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, located at 7724 Landers Rd. N.L.R. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 29th at 10 a.m. in the Rest Hills Chapel with interment to follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
