Rebecca Jane Sherman Watson

Rebecca Jane Sherman Watson went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 20, 2012. Born April 13, 1947 in Conneaut, Ohio, she was the daughter of E.T. "Pete" Sherman of Albion, PA and Nellie Samuel Page Sherman, originally of Pine Bluff, Ark. Beckie was a graduate of Northwestern High School (1965) in Albion, Pa. and Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark. She received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Ouachita on May 30, 1969, and the following day, June 1, 1969, married James Watson at the Elliott Baptist Church in Camden, Ark. James and Beckie were blessed by the birth of a daughter, Heverin Joy, on Beckie's birthday in 1977, and blessed a second time with the birth of a son, Jonathan Edward, on July 13, 1982. They were blessed many more times throughout their 43 years of marriage to include others as part of their extended family as well. A celebration of Beckie's life will be held at Greenlee Memorial Baptist Church, 4901 Old Warren Rd., Pine Bluff, Ark. at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2012. A memorial service will be held later in Pennsylvania.
