Douglas Picard Watson Jr., 46, of Hot Springs, formerly of Bryant, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. He was born July 18, 1966 in Memphis, Tenn. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. Douglas Picard is survived by his father and stepmother, Douglas Watson Sr. and Myra Taff-Watson of Roland, Ark.; sisters, Elizabeth Watson of Sheridan, Ark., and Sonja Watson-Creed of Mount Vernon, Ill.; daughter, Amber Jo Watson of Alexander, Ark.; mother, Shirley Lopez Watson of Ferguson, Mo.; his fiancee, Billie Johnson of Hot Springs and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 5300 Stagecoach Road, Little Rock, Ark., with Pastor Bob Slagley officiating. Cremation arrangements will be provided by Gross Funeral Home of Hot Springs. He will be interred at the family homestead site at the Buckville, Ark. Historical Cemetery overlooking beautiful Lake Ouachita.
