Edward W. "Sonny" Carter

Edward W. "Sonny" Carter, age 65, of Perryville, passed away, Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012. He was born Jan. 25, 1947 in Dyess, Ark., a son of Leland Carter and Goldia Counts Carter. He was an Army veteran and owner/operator of the Western Auto Store in Perryville for 24 years. Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Causey Carter of Perryville; daughter, Shelly (James) Warner of Morrilton; brother, Jerry (Diane) Carter of Horn Lake, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Nancy (Ed) Massey of Morrilton; mother-in-law, Martha (Stan) Ewing of Morrilton; brother-in-law, Douglas (Vickie) Causey of Conway, and a host of other family and friends. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
