Leonard C. Brenski

Leonard C. Brenske, 88, of Conway, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, July 29, 2012. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a son to Domonic Charles and Anna Simalunis Brenske. Leonard will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He was a veteran of WWII, having served as a Merchant Seaman. He was the Food Service Director for Hendrix College until his retirement. Leonard enjoyed ballroom dancing with his wife and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Those preceding him in death are his parents; his beloved wife of 57 years, Doris Brenske and a grandson, Brian Brenske. Survivors include his son, Charles Brenske and wife Pam of Conway; daughters: Donna Brenske of Conway, Diana Brenske and husband Mike Paladino of North Little Rock, Deborah Brenske of Kenilworth, Utah and Kristina Burford and husband John of Conway; grandchildren: Jay Burford, Anna Grace Burford and Sarah Patrick and husband Toby and one great-grandchild, Dominick Patrick. The family sends special thanks to Jim Lock for his friendship and spiritual guidance. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 2, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with the Rosary at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway.
