Blanche Elrod Roediger

Blanche Elrod Roediger, age 83, of Cabot, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on August 1, 2013. She was born in Des Arc to Will and Doll Elrod on April 21, 1930. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Shuford and Roe Elrod; one sister, Rena Barnes and a granddaughter, Jeana Childers Neukan. Those left to celebrate her life are children, Phyllis Austin (Kirby), Allan Broussard (LaDonna), and Don Broussand (Lilly); eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She left her mark on all that knew her and she will be terribly missed but it was her time to move to that mansion in the sky. "We thank our God in all our remembrance of you." (Philippians 1:3). Blanche loved to spend time with her children, family and friends. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and had a great love for music and dancing and her favorite past time was fishing. She had the greatest sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. prior to funeral services at 3 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen, Arkansas. Burial will follow at the Hazen Cemetery with Bro.
