Garland J. McAbee

Garland J. McAbee, resident of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away on the 31st July, 2013, at the age of 88 at his home. He was born in Medford, Oregon on October 6, 1924. Mack was a 20 year veteran and served in both WWII and Korean wars. He was a decorated special forces and airborne ranger who was awarded a silver star, a bronze star with two clusters and purple hearts. Mack is survived by his wife Rita D. McAbee and six sons; Garland Jr., Daniel, Tim, Chuck, Doug, and Billy, one brother Bob McAbee, eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. At Mack's request there is no service that is being held.
