Ruby Jewell Cartwright

Ruby Jewell Tackett Cartwright, 93, of Sherwood passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was born to the late F. D. and Sennie Evelyn Hale Tackett in Ada Valley Conway County, Ark. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband, W.O. Cartwright, a granddaughter, Kimberly Lieggi, sisters, Pearlie Young, Flossie Epperson, Georgia Renfroe, Gladys Snyder, Pauline Thomas and her brother, Paul Tackett. Ruby was a homemaker and enjoyed her family gathering. She was of Baptist faith and enjoyed her friends. She was an avid bowler from 1974 through 2011. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her four children, Norman "Skip" Cartwright, Patricia Lieggi and husband, Joseph, Kenneth Cartwright and his wife, Billie and Philip Cartwright; two grandchildren, Tobie Cartwright Jost and husband, Mike, and Brad Cartwright and wife Angela; four great-grandchildren, Ty Morris, Presley Morris, Kade Cartwright and Henry Jost, a host of friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 10, 2013, 1 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400 with Brother Jim Smith will officiate.
