ANTHONY WALKER HOWARD, 71, of Little Rock, died on the morning of Aug. 10, 2013 while under the care of Arkansas Hospice. He was born on June 17, 1942 to the late Alfred and Roberta Howard in Little Rock, Ark. Anthony was a member of The Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 155 for over 45 years. He was also a member of Barnett Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by sister, Carolyn; and his two brothers, Keith and Larry. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Willie Mae "Bill"; daughter, Tanya (Scott) Baxter of Benton; son Randy (Michelle) Howard of Bryant; brother, Terry (Pat) Howard of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, Tara (Hunter) Begoon, Tyler Walker, Dakota Baxter, Cydney Howard, McKayla Howard; one great-grandchild, Easton Begoon; and a host of extended family and friends. Anthony was a proud graduate of the Fuller High School Class of 1960. He coached many ballgames, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drag racing, and was a member of the Arkansas Classic Chevy Club. Anthony was a member of the Central Arkansas Pro-Am Golf Association and was the current Vice-President of the Stonelinks Mens Golf Association. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 12, 2013 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800 from 6-8p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home at 10 a.m. officiated by Bishop Kenneth W. Smith with burial services following at Ivy Chapel Cemetery (706 Ivy Chapel Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72206).
