Ruby Dean Jackson

Ruby Dean Jackson, 85, of Benton, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013. She was born April 17, 1928 in Camden, Ark. to the late Joe and Linda Wilson. Ruby was a member of Salem Road Church of Christ. She loved her family dearly, was a friend to so many, and loved doing for others. Mrs. Jackson loved to cook, garden, and do everything she could for those in need. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jackson; sons, Michael and Ronnie Jackson; and grandson, Blake Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Merilene Avaritt of Benton; son, Steve Jackson of Benton; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and many friends and dear loved ones in Christ. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
