J.D. Nowlin

J.D. Nowlin, age 89, of Arkadelphia, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at his home. J.D. was a retired automobile mechanic, an U. S. Air Force veteran of WW II and a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed raising a garden. Survivors are his wife of over 65 years, Rebecca Nowlin; one daughter. Ann Murphy of Arkadelphia; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Patrick and Jennifer Arnold; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery near Sparkman.
