Nadine (Stewart) Harder, 92, of Bryant, Arkansas, was born August 9, 1921 in Greenbrier, Arkansas to Charles and Lillie (Reno) Stewart, and she died Monday, August 12, 2013. A former resident of Little Rock and Beebe, she worked at the munitions factory during WWII, at Sterling and Otasco Department Stores. She enjoyed gardening, reading and crossword puzzles. Her last years were spent at Southern Trace Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Bryant where she made many friends and enjoyed many activities. Nadine is survived by her sons, Robert Harder, of Kingston, Richard and daughter-in-law Brenda Harder of Benton; her sister, Berniece Hargrove of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clarence G. Harder; and brothers and sisters Ruby Earnhart, Drew Stewart, Jewell Holloway, Lester Stewart, Sam Stewart and Oda Stewart. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Beebe, with burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home. www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
