Paul Arnn Bailey

Paul Arnn Bailey, 80, of Dermott passed away Friday, Aug. 16 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village, Ark. Mr. Bailey was born March 30, 1933 in Gentry, Ark. to the late Ray Bailey and Eva Arnn Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a farmer, a past member of the Chicot County Farm Bureau, an Army veteran, a deacon and Sunday school teacher, and a member of Bellaire Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife: Glenda Bailey of Dermott, Ark., one son: John Bailey and wife Connie of Rapid City, S.D., one daughter: Debbie Bilgischer and husband Al of Hot Springs Village, Ark., two sisters: June Duncan of Dermott, Ark., and Ella Mae Bates and husband John of Lafayette, La., two granddaughters: Candice Bailey of Dermott, Ark. and Krista Carothers and husband Sean of Pine Bluff, Ark., two step-grandchildren: Randell and David Jones of Kemmerer, Wyo., three great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Mr. Bailey was preceeded in death by his parents. Services for Mr. Bailey will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19 at the Bellaire Baptist Church with Bro. Brett Lee officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 18 from 2-4 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Duncan, Ricky Golden, Keith Bates, Mike Livingston, Andy Vail and Larry Tubbs. Burial will be in Dermott Cemetery under the direction of Griffin-Culpepper funeral service.
