John Leslie Palsa, 33, of Carlisle died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at UAMS. John was born on October 4, 1979 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. John was a graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with two degrees and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved to travel. John is survived by his parents, Tim and Sue Palsa of Carlisle; one sister, Melanie Brown and husband, Chuck of Carlisle; three nieces, Madeline, Olivia, and Nina Catherine all of Carlisle and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Carlisle. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 30 at the Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Interment will be in the Carlisle Cemetery. Online obituary at www.westbrookfuneralhomehazen.com.
