Edison Charlton

Edison Charlton, Sr., age 93, of Perryville, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013. He was born February 2, 1920 in Clarendon, Arkansas. He was a son of the late Clarence Charlton and the late Dovie Rodman. He was a retired mechanic and attended the Perryville Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Nancy Rodman Charlton; one son, Edison Charlton Jr. (Patricia) of Mesquite, Texas; one daughter, Debbie Lee (Vern) of Perryville; two half sisters, Shirley Esgro of Marvell, Arkansas and Lena Ford of Amado, Arizona; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 31st at Perryville Assembly of God with Bro. Buddy Wroten and Chaplin Jeff Charlton officiating.
