Nancy Jane Palmer

NANCY JANE PALMER, 79, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013. She was born on Feb. 13, 1934 to W.C and Willie Sharp in the house that her father built at 4211 W. 22nd in Little Rock. Nancy was a long time member of South Highland Baptist Church and served as church pianist when she was a teenager; an avid bowler; Girl Scout leader; and a member of Lakeside County Club. She served as an Executive Administrator for several large companies in Little Rock. Nancy came from a large family and her entire family was the central focus of her life. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, John David Palmer and Carroll Cossey; two sisters, Marie Greenlee and Faye Pruett. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Cossey; and one son, David Cossey; and his wife, Jackie; three grandchildren, Melissa Saban and her husband Scott, Leah Cossey and Leslie Cossey; four great grandchildren, Jacob, Riley, Will and Stella; one brother, Bernard (Bubba) Sharp; two sisters, Marquerite Hadfield and Jean Page; and numerous nephews and nieces. She will be missed by many. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300.
