Ruby Jewell Morrison

Ruby Jewell Morrison, 81, of Cabot died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013. She was born Aug. 10, 1932 in Cabot to the late Elmer Franklin and Bevie Jewell Abbott Wheetley. Mrs. Morrison was a member of Old Austin Baptist Church, a beautician and an inspector at Franklin Electric Company for 30 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Larry Morrison; her daughter, Glenda Dodson; and four brothers, Doyle Williams, Forrest Williams, Elmer Wheetley and James Wheetley. Mrs. Morrison is survived by two sons, Kirk Morrison (Teresa) and Greg Morrison (Mary), all of Cabot; a brother, Gerald Wheetley of Cabot; six grandchildren, Kenric Bell, Tiffany Dodson, Chase Dodson, Zachary Morrison, Brittany Morrison and Nicholas Morrison and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 at Old Austin Baptist Church with Brother Mark Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Sumner Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
