Dewana Clegg Clayton, 44, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Prattsville, Ark. died Saturday, December 7, 2013. She was born November 20, 1969 in Prattsville, Ark. to the Eddie Houston and Willie Dean Hall Clegg. Dewana was a former member of Davis Creek Baptist Church, Temple of Restoration, Calvary Church of God In Christ and currently West Irving Church of God In Christ in Irving, Texas. She was a 1988 graduate of Malvern High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She was currently seeking a Medical Assistant Degree from Stanford Brown College. Survivors include, daughters, Amari Hall and Kallie Clayton; father, Eddie (Karron) Clegg; siblings, Tyrone (Karen) Clegg, Sondra Clegg, Sandy (Calvin) Ladd and Denna (Anthony) Newton; stepbrothers and stepsisters, a host of aunts, uncles and extended family. Funeral service: 11 a.m., Saturday, Bethel African Methodist Church, 1220 Carmichael Street, Malvern, Ark. Visitation: Friday, 5-7 p.m. at Calvary Church of God In Christ, 610 J.W.
