THOMAS L. "TOM" BLYTHE, 67, of North Little Rock, passed away Dec. 12, 2013. He was born in Conway on Sept. 12, 1946 to Lindon and Lois Blythe. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lynette. Mr. Blythe was retired from Pulaski County Special School District and had been very active in the Burns Park Athletic Association and North Little Rock Optimist Club. During that time, he coached his sons and the youth of NLR in Teeny League, Little League and Senior League baseball. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol, and two sons, Buck Blythe and wife, Vanessa, and Bryan Blythe all of Cabot. He also leaves his special granddaughters, Ashtyn and Brittani Blythe, whom he loved with all his heart; two sisters, Karen Hutchens (Jim) and Donna Clawson (Ed) all of Conway, several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Family visitation will be Monday, Dec. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment at Rest Hills.
