Henry Eugene Young

Henry Eugene Young, age 74, of Rye, Ark. died Saturday Dec. 14, at his home. He was born Sept. 4, 1939 in Rye, Ark. a son of the late James Samuel "Jim" Young and Willie Hazel Ashcraft Young. Henry was a retired electrical engineer for L.T.V. Corporation helping N.A.S.A. send man to the moon. He traveled extensively with his job and returned home in the late 1970's to help care for his parents. He was a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church and the widower of Lillie Kimbrell Young who died Sept. 17, 1983. Also, preceding him in death were brothers, Floyd Dale Young, James Owen Young, Clay Maxwell Young, Aubrey Young; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Adams; and nieces, Cindy Adams Carter and Melanie Ann Young. Survivors are two brothers, J. Murray Young and Willie Jordan Young both of Rye, Ark.; one sister, Katie Sue Reep of Warren, Ark. Funeral services 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 17, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial is in Union Cemetery at Rye, Ark. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday Dec. 16, at Frazer's. Memorials preferred Union Cemetery Association.
