Nell Rose Stratton

Nell Rose Stratton, 91 of Bearden died Sunday December 15, 2013 at Silver Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Camden. Born November 5, 1922 at Bearden, she was the daughter of the late Mose B. and Edith M. James. She lived in Sparkman for a number of years before moving back to Bearden. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Bearden. Mrs. Stratton was preceded in death by her husband, H.L. Stratton. She is survived by her son, Phil Stratton of Hot Springs; her daughter, Nelda McCall of Bearden; four grandchildren, Stacia Weahunt of Ft. Smith, Brent Stratton of New Orleans, La., Heather Paxton of Nashville, Tenn., Amanda McCall of Little Rock, and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Moss Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Bevill officiating.
