William Robert Selman

William Robert Selman, 85, of Eudora, Arkansas died December 14, 2013 at his residence. William was born in McGehee, Arkansas on August 9, 1928 to the late Robert Henry and Virgie Beatrice Tipton Selman. He lived in Eudora since 1972 where he owned and operated Selman Tire Co., Selman Gin and Nursery. William was a Shriner and a Mason. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roxie Moore Selman; sister, Kathlene Oxner and brother, Charles Henry Selman. Survivors include his son, Bubba Selman of Eudora, Ark.; daughters; Judy H. Reed of Eudora, Ark.; Elizabeth (Mike) Jones of McGehee, Ark.; grandchildren, Robert Louis Howell, Robin Barnett, Steve Jones, B.J. Selman, and Chance Selman; great-grandchildren, Daniel Howell, Avery Barnett, Dillon Howell, Dalton Barnett, Maya Selman, and Cash Selman. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013 at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, Ark. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Eudora Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Wilson officiating. Burial will be at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, Ark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eudora Baptist Church, P.O. Box 39, Eudora, Ark. 71640.
