Johnnie Yvonne Morris

Johnnie Yvonne Morris, beloved wife of Gilbert Morris, passed away into the hands of our Blessed Lord Jesus on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. In Heaven, she joined her son, Alan Morris, and her granddaughter, Laura Smith, and other members of her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Morris and Stacy Smith; her grandchildren, Dixie Morris-Downs, Andrea Smith Marrero, and Zackary Morris. She was also blessed to have five great-grandchildren, Harrison Bennett, Emmaline and Adelle Marrero, and Jackson Downs. Johnnie (or Mimi, as she has been affectionately known for the last 32 years) was married to Gilbert for 66 years. For all who knew her, Mimi will be most remembered for her sweetness, her kindness, her gentleness, and her deep and abiding faith in the Lord. Gilbert and the family would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. A memorial service will be held at Pine Rest Funeral Home on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. Arrangements by Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley, Ala.
