Rod Landers

Rod Landers, 57, of Benton, passed away December 18, 2013. He was born July 17, 1956 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Ruff and Ruth Rudder Landers. Rod was a member of the Benton First Church of the Nazarene. Rod is survived by his wife, Marla Landers, sons, Nathan Landers and Matthew Landers, granddaughters, Olivia Nicole and Hannah Renee, brothers, John "Nick" Gabriel and wife, Adele, James Alsup and wife, Mary, Roger Lovell and wife, Tina, sisters, Carolyn Kesterson and husband, Don, Marilyn Sullivan and husband, Raymond, Vickie Parker and husband, Larry. Pallbearers will be Nathan Landers, Matthew Landers, Raymond Sullivan, Louis Roberts, Gaylon Roberts, James Ray Higgins, James Alsup, and John "Nick" Gabriel. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Beeson, Brooks Cochran, Robert Mitchell, Don Kesterson, Luke Alsup and Matt Pritchard. Church Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Benton First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brady Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Old Rosemont Cemetery.
