Donna Jean Nichols

Donna Jean Nichols, 60, of Little Rock, passed away December 24, 2013. She was born in Rochelle, Illinois to Hugh T. and Helen Marie Johnson Nicklaus and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She had a long and distinguished career in banking in Little Rock, followed by 13 years as a Cash Manager and Auditor with the Pulaski County Treasurer. Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul Nichols; children, Ann Nichols of Little Rock, Matthew Nichols of Eugene, Oregon, Nicole Herren and husband, Michael of West Memphis, and Melissa Cuevas and husband, Jose of Little Rock; her mother, Helen Nicklaus of Little Rock; sister, Janet Pucci (Dennis) of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother, Jerry Nicklaus (RoseMary) of Greenville, South Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be this evening, Friday, December 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday, December 28 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Paul H. Jilg. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
