Emma Lou Perry Duncan, born October 24, 1930 to Garnett L. and Bertha Johnson Perry, went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2013. Emma was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Mitchel, daughter Debbie Duncan Seymore, son Perry Duncan, brother Bryon Perry, sisters Pauline Perry, Naomi Hodges, Oletta Vaughan, Joyce Staggs and Claudine Rodriquez. She is survived by one sister Maxine Burford, daughter Donna Passini of Little Rock, son Lynn Duncan (Kathy) of Alexander, son-in-law Charles (Butch) Seymore, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Emma fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of Otter Creek Baptist Church. She was an amazing woman with great love for her family and friends. Emma was loved and will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Arkansas Hospice and friends and relatives for their support during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday December 27, 2013 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark. 72002. Graveside services will be on Saturday, December 28, at 1:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Duncan, Rusty Passini, Jason McGee, Dwight Anderson, Charlie Boyette, Charles (Butch) Seymore, Matt Duncan and Tyler Duncan.
